Bethesda Removes Almost All Its Games from NVIDIA GeForce Now
The following Bethesda titles have been removed as of today: Dishonored, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Doom, Everspace, Fallout 3, Fallout 76, Fallout: New Vegas, Prey, Quake Champions, Rage 2, (Bethesda.net / Steam), The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.
Currently, the only Bethesda game left to play on GeForce Now is Wolfenstein: Youngblood, but that's because it's the only one that benefits from NVIDIA's RTX technology.
We knew NVIDIA's streaming service would be too good to be true. It's been less than two weeks since GeForce Now made it out of beta and big publishers have already started to remove their games.
The reason is quite obvious: money. No publisher wants to allow NVIDIA to make money with their games without getting something in return. Even though sales of many of these games would probably increase following the launch of the service, it looks like these publishers think otherwise.
Unfortunately, NVIDIA said right after Activision Blizzard pulled out from the service that there's nothing they can do at the moment, but that they will try to bring at least some of the titles back in the future.
Currently, NVIDIA's GeForce Now premium tier is free for the first three months, but by the time the first subscribers should actually start paying for the service, there will be nothing interesting left for them to play.
